I'll Be Backend

Terms and conditions

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms cover illbebackend.dev (the "site") and the I'll Be Backend lessons and videos on YouTube, TikTok and other platforms (together, the "lessons"). By using them you agree to these terms. They're meant to be simple: learn from the lessons, use the code, share the links.

Using the lessons

The site and the lessons are free. You don't need an account. You may watch, read and step through the lessons for any purpose, personal or professional, including teaching and training others.

The code

You may use, copy, modify and share the code shown in the lessons in your own projects, commercial or not, without asking and without attribution. A link back is appreciated but not required. The code is provided as is: it's written to teach an idea, so review and test it before relying on it.

Sharing

You're welcome to link to any page or video, embed our videos where the platform allows it, and quote short parts of a lesson with a link to the source. Please don't re-upload our videos in full or present the lessons as your own.

Our name and logo

The I'll Be Backend name, logo and visual style identify our work. You can use them to refer to us or link to us, but not in a way that suggests we made or endorse something we didn't.

Platforms

When you watch on YouTube, TikTok or another platform, that platform's own terms also apply to your use of it.

No warranty

The lessons are provided for education, as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep them correct, but programming advice depends on context, and we're not responsible for how you apply it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I'll Be Backend is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site, the lessons or the code.

Changes

We may update these terms, change the lessons or take any part of the site offline at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
